Two of my Brooklyn College mathematics teachers- Professor Jack Wolfe and Professor Samuel Borofsky taught me that to truly understand one's universe, one must see it thru multiple "eyes" and also have tools to "communicate" these views. To do this, they taught me to use editable and cost-saving process documentation "plays" for process developers and participants to help them quickly and effectively learn, adapt, test, teach, and work together. As a Federal Government civil servant, I applied the Wolfe--Borofsky approach to 1) manage over 50% of all of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) contracts, 2) help the US Department of Justice provide bulletproof vests to all the policemen in the US, 3) help the US Department of Health and Human Services to fund grants to all hospitals in the US, 4) help the US Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) to fund 19,500 fire departments in the US, and 5) other applications (http://ehbs.us). The Wolfe--Borofsky approach has been used in over 10 Federal Agencies, one of which won the award for best system in the Federal Government. Thank you, Professors Wolfe and Borofsky.
