1. Overview

In this subprocess, we deal with the process of CMMI-Staged improvement This is where Organizations formally improve their subprocesses using the CMMI-Staged improvement methodology.

2. Play

In this subprocess, the play is divided in several parts:

1. Administrative Tools. This is where participants utilize common operations
2. Improvement Plan Development. This is where the overall Improvement Plan is created.
3. Subprocess Documentation Preparation. This is where all of the subprocesses of the process are documented.
4. Staff Preparation. This is where all of the staff are prepared for evaluation.
5. Improvement Tool Preparation. This is where the formal CMMI-Staged tool is prepared.
6. Audit. This is where the formal CMMI-Staged audit is executed.
7. Develop Recommendations Report. This is where the audit report is converted to specific recommendations.
8. Develop Improvements Implementation Plan. This is where the specific recommendations are is implemented.
9. Analysis. This is where participants use report tools.

3. Documents

In this subprocess, we have the following document types:

Improvement Plan. These are used to represent the Improvement Plan.
Subprocess Documentation. These are used to represent the documentation for a subprocess.
Staff Preparation Report. These are used to represent the Staff Preparation Report.
Improvement Tool. These are used to represent the Improvement Tool.
Audit Report. These are used to represent the Audit Report.
Recommendations Report. These are used to represent the Recommendations Report.
Improvements Implementation Report. These are used to represent the Improvement Implementation Report.

4. Guidelines

In this subprocess, we have the following Guidelines:

CMMI-Staged Manager.This is the person responsible for the CMMI-Staged subprocess.
CMMI-Staged Auditor. This is the person responsible for the CMMI-Staged Audit.
Subprocess Teacher . This is the person involved in teaching a subprocess .
Organization Manager. This is the person managing an organization.
Overall Organizations Manager. This is the person managing all the organizations.
Subprocess Manager. This is the person managing a subprocess .
Subprocess Implementor. This is the person implementing a subprocess .
Subprocess Participant. This is the person involved in a subprocess .
